Communications Officer – Marberg – Toronto, ON

A Communications Officer required for government client. Main responsibilities include writing, editing, and designing of the annual reports, strategic plans, operational plans, and communication plans.

Candidates must be able to combine artistic talent and technical skills to produce professional photographs, design concepts and samples of content. In addition to this you must also be able to provide status updates; integrate written content into design frameworks; create interactive PDF’s of the Annual Report Document; and produce Microsoft Word design templates for strategic and operational plans.

The ideal candidate should have strong written and oral communication skills and be proficient in editing and developing professional quality reports and other documents. Must be proficient in Adobe Create Suite 5.5 programs, with a particular focus on InDesign; Photoshop; and Illustrator and have advanced knowledge of Acrobat X Pro, Flash Catalyst/Professional, Dreamweaver/Fireworks, MS Office.
