Must have:
2 year College Degree/Diploma in Business, Logistics, or a related field.

2+ years:
Industry experience in Freight Forwarding, Transportation or Logistics
Customer Service and Sales experience with a focus on Air/Seafreight Sales is required.
Experience handling Air Freight.
Must have high proficiency in written and spoken English and medium-high proficiency in French

Key Responsabilities
Sell Seafreight primarily but not restricted to the company’s core products and services which include international transportation (ocean, air), door delivery trucking, warehousing, insurance and other logistic services;

You will be responsible to ensure that shipments are picked up, transported and delivered successfully. You will plan, organize, direct and control your daily operations. Negotiate for services and preferential rates. Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue, ensure compliance with regulations, co-ordinate the scheduling and dispatching with single shipper and consolidation shipments.

You will be handling bookings with the carriers, documentation and follow ups. Follows ups with freight companies locally and overseas, to track shipments and work with our agents to perform the best possible service.

You will liaise with Canada Customs regularly to ensure compliance and to complete and submit customs reports as required.

General/Personal competencies
Must possess clear understanding of exporting products internationally, including border requirements per country, export process, and required export documentation.
Strong computer skills are required, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal & written) are required;
Excellent listening and analytical skills are required;
Excellent organizational and time management skills are required, including the ability to prioritize and multitask;
Proven ability to work well independently and with a team required, including the ability to self-motivate.
