Volunteer Website Manager and Designer, Administrative Assistant, and Marketing Assistant

Volunteer with Thriving Roots Wilderness School! We offer programs for children and adults teaching wilderness living and nature connection, while guiding students on a journey of soulful transformation while building flourishing community. Come support the vision!

We are looking for someone who has a background in nature education and is passionate about making a difference in the world! Ideally, you have strong computer and website skills (WordPress), and enjoy the behind the scenes tasks of supporting a grass-roots, nature-based education organization. If you have an interest and skillset in certain areas, please let us know what work best for you!

Activities may include:

web support and design- update website, post programs, make website more user friendly
compile Thriving Roots contacts
design and send out online newsletters
social media- post Thriving Roots updates and programs on various social media sites
design and put up posters
marketing: contact local newspapers and magazines, write articles about Thriving Roots
co-ordinate special events

Time commitment: The time commitment is flexible. We are looking for someone who can volunteer 3-10 hours per week. Let us know what would work for you.
