This exciting opportunity working with one of the largest school districts in the province will provide you an opportunity to use your human resources and labour relations leadership skills to contribute to our district mission of enabling students to reach their maximum potential. As a member of the senior management team reporting to the Superintendent of Schools, you will create and implement a long-term vision reflective of the strategic importance of human resource practices in our diverse and dynamic district.

Your strong background in Human Resources and Labour Relations in a unionized environment will equip you well to manage within the VSB. Your proven track record of building relationships will allow you to work well with the dedicated team of Employee Services professionals in the department as well as with a variety of associations, employee groups, and unions. Transparent communications, inclusive decision making and a respectful business ethos are the hallmarks of your leadership style, as is an ability to effectively manage changing conditions and emerging issues.
