Sales Representative – Ottawa – Logilys

A designer and distributor of the software solutions: ProLys, ProDon, ProLoc and ProDoc is a computer firm undergoing expansion. We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:

This role will be working with and reporting to the Sales Director at Logilys. The successful candidate will be involved in sales development for our ProDon software.

Key responsibilities
As a Sales Representative, you will respond to requests for information and advise clients. More specifically, you will utilize your active listening skills to understand clients’ needs and guide them during the process of purchasing management software. You will be responsible for making proposals which include necessary licenses, modules and services, following an in-depth evaluation of the needs and goals of an organization. You will also utilize CRM software to document each client interaction.

In addition, you will give group demonstrations and customized Web presentations. Participation in seminars and congresses to promote our products and ensure follow up, will also be required.

Finally, you will prospect and contact potential clients and follow up with existing clients.

Abilities
Solid communication skills
Capable of making cold calls to promote the software
Organized, leadership skills and an ability to perform without direct supervision
Autonomy and the ability to work as part of a team
Available and dynamic

Requirements
Experience in sales and customer service
MS-Excel and MS-Word knowledge
MS-Access (or other database software) knowledge, an asset
Excellent written and spoken English
Bilingualism (English/French) an asset
