Sales Representative – DBPC Group of Companies – North York, ON

Our client, a leading advertising and recruitment agency, is urgently seeking an energetic, articulate and profit driven Sales Representative.

Requirements:

Diploma or certificate in Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Advertising or any field related to Sales
Experience at selling advertising/marketing campaigns is definitely an advantage
Sound knowledge in researching and analyzing the market
Keep abreast with the latest trends and plan strategies accordingly
Proven customer service and business acumen
Very innovative and take risks as well as implement creative/outside-the-box ideas to increase revenue and generate income
Highly assertive, with leadership qualities and believe in team work
Self-motivated with enthusiasm to set and meet goals and targets
Can handle critical decisions and sense potential risks, difficulties or conflicts
Impressive presentation, negotiation, communication and interpersonal relation skills; detail oriented, well organized and manage time efficiently
Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet technologies; exposure in Data Management is an advantage
Possess own transportation with valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Deal with potential and existing clients to offer advertising solutions.
Make appropriate recommendations that will best suit clienteles’ current and future needs
Work with various sales and marketing research tools and techniques to fully understand and serve customers’ requirements
Conduct in-depth analysis of the market through the different mediums. Plan and initiate strategies that can attract clients to boost sales
Drive revenue, generate new business and increase profitability through independent prospecting including cold calling, direct mail campaigns or client visits; follow-up regularly
Book appointments; prepare client offers, sales quotes, presentations, proposals and other related correspondences; negotiate price and discuss modes/terms of payment
Sell advertising space (magazine and online) to individuals, companies and other institutions
Provide feedback and evaluation about status of sales calls/visits ASAP
Submit an accurate daily/weekly itinerary, mileage and weekly sales achievement reports
Identify competitors ensuring company’s business is free from risks and threats
Organize promotional events such as facilitating networking sessions or attending trade fairs/exhibits to advertise company’s services
Maintain and update records, binders and manuals such as price list, scripts, literatures and other forms relevant to the job
Keep up a working knowledge of advertising services to effectively relate benefits and advantages as against competitors
Coordinate with marketing departments and ensure orders are delivered on a timely basis
Notify management and creative designer of finalized work orders
Manage a portfolio of accounts; update and maintain customer database on a regular basis
Consistently project a professional demeanour, positive attitude and pleasing image to customers

Salary: $14 Hourly + Commission
Hours: Available between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday and some Saturdays)
