CORE FUNCTIONS:
Collaborate with the Owner in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals and direction for the company.
Manage product sales in BC to maximize sales revenues and meet company objectives.
Manage all aspects of websites, e-newsletters and customer lists.
Manage all aspects of Farmers’ Markets and trade shows.
DETAILS OF FUNCTION:
Share our passion for creating real food, have an “everything is possible” attitude and be customer service driven
Are a natural communicator and good listener who loves people
Possess a strong attention to detail, operate effortlessly in a highly dynamic environment
Have a solid understanding of digital marketing, consumer promotions, point-of-sale marketing, PR and sales promotions
Collaborate with the Owner and Operations Manager to establish and control budgets for sales promotions, Farmers’ Markets and trade show expenses
Be a creative thinker who pushes for innovation
QUALIFICATIONS:
You can think on your feet, you’re patient and a good listener
Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in marketing
Previous experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, WordPress, MailChimp and BarTender.
Outside sales experience an asset
Graphic design and Web experience an asset
A valid driver’s license
Mad ping-pong skills necessary
