Inside Sales Coordinator – Toronto – BlueLine Rental

Services all walk-in and existing customers to maintain and increase the company’s customer base and to achieve rental, sales, and service revenue goals. Manages new and existing customer accounts by negotiating terms; managing customer expectations, and resolving customer problems, issues and concerns; develops new accounts by marketing company product lines and offering value-added services.

Prepares bids on new and existing jobs and projects; identifies and develops new service contract opportunities; receives customer orders and serves as the customer contact point on rental equipment. Develops a referral network to assist in increasing the client base; may assist in orienting customer on equipment and vehicles. Assist in implementing, sustaining, and developing quality process improvements that focus on safety, financials, operations, and customer service.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES – KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated sales and customer service skills; must interact with internal and external customers in a cooperative and professional manner
Effective oral and written communication skills to communicate with store, division and regional management
Must speak fluent English
Willingness and Drive to Solve Problems
Intermediate MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills, and must have Wynne/AX/Rentalman experience (or related software)
Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization and customer operations
Knowledge of business accounting principles, budget preparation, and business acumen
Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
Driven and results oriented, business development and KPIs to meet corporate targets
Strong technical aptitude and understanding of construction equipment and rental industry

ESSENTIAL AND NON-ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist callers and walk-in customers with counter sales & technical support
Assist with product demonstrations
Assist with sales and marketing initiative to increase market share
All other miscellaneous duties as assigned within department

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma, Associates, or Bachelor’s in Business Management, Construction Management, Business Administration or Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
1 – 2 years customer service and /or sales experience in construction or manufacturing industry highly desirable
3 – 5 years experience in equipment rental (or similar) business considered highly desirable
Valid driver’s license

WORKING CONDITION/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work environment is consistent with construction equipment inventory and repair/service shop, customer service desk
Fast paced, high energy environment
Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area
Occasional lifting may be required up to 25 lbs.
Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and stooping
