Thinkwell Shift (“Shift”) is a behavior change company that specializes in resource conservation. We create strategies that encourage people to make lasting changes in their daily lives to conserve resources such as water, energy, and waste. In order to facilitate behaviour change, we connect with customers using various tactics to guide their path. Shift is looking for customer service orientated individuals who are looking for a challenge.

Position

This position is comprised of many elements, including:

Interacting with customers in person on a daily basis
Engaging in in-person conversations to administer a survey (series of questions) using handheld devices
Collecting and recording information with courtesy and professionalism
Listening to the customer to understand their needs
Following operational procedures and the quality standards upheld by Thinkwell Shift
Maintaining a confidential manner with accuracy, courtesy and efficiency
Maintaining a level of overall performance according to the objectives set by Thinkwell Shift
Maintaining an excellent record of attendance at work and respect the schedule

Shift is looking for individuals for part time work (16 hours) in Halifax, with shifts Monday- Thursday evenings and some weekends.

The contract is for 6-8 weeks with the possibility of an extension. Training and work begins at the end of August.

Compensation

Hourly rate is $15-17/hr (depending on experience) + car and phone allowances.

Strong customer service
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Personable, positive, and professional demeanour
Able to follow protocol
Experience working independently
Passionate about the environment
Attention to details and accuracy
Team player
Very comfortable with standard office technology including Microsoft office (Word/Excel) and access to a smartphone and the Internet
Clean background check is mandatory (Provided by Shift)
Access to a vehicle is preferred
Being certified in First-Aid is beneficial
