Quadra is committed to having a strong and integrated Sustainability program and is seeking to hire a competent and passionate Sustainability Manager to fulfill this mandate as their primary responsibility. This position can be based at one of either of the following locations: Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec or Burlington, Ontario

DESCRIPTION:

Key functions will include:

Manage Quadra’s sustainability roadmap to ensure we remain in a leadership position
Coordinate implementation of sustainability initiatives, working with Sustainability team and other department to achieve objectives and goals.
Collaborate with Commercial Group Leaders regarding increasing sales of Green & Better choice products
Collaborate with team members to assess and improve the environmental impact of our operations, sourcing, supply chain, social practices
Help lead and enable that, as a whole, Quadra’s sustainability programs are economically viable and bring tangible value to the company including both operational savings and commercially tangible benefits
Lead the development and publication of our annual sustainability report
Coordinate ongoing internal and external communication with key stakeholders about sustainability issues of interest
Support for quality, environment, health and safety

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years sustainability experience
Education: BSc, Sustainability training
Travel (as required)
Preferable industry experience such as chemical manufacturing, distribution
Computer literate

Assertive and dynamic; driven; goes after what is required and gets things done; ability to influence and be able to gather and coordinate data from other departments; team player.
