The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM) is Western Canada’s only not-for-profit accredited naturopathic medical school. The President is responsible for the overall leadership, organizational management and direction of BINM. (S)he will exemplify our commitment to the quality, professionalism and excellence that are at the core of the BINM naturopathic medical education experience. The President will be a creative individual who is an accomplished leader and manager. Possessing financial and business acumen, the President will vigilantly seek opportunities and leverage external connections and relationships to achieve long-term financial sustainability for the school. Resourceful and innovative, the President will embrace new ideas and the opportunity to participate in building the professional profile of the Institute. With a pro-active forward thinking mindset, the President will have proven skills in the execution of business and strategic plans.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A graduate or post-graduate degree
An appreciation of naturopathic medicine and will be aligned with the values of the institution
Demonstrated success in a senior management position, preferably at an institution of higher education
The ability to lead the organization and foster positive internal relationships
Proven ability to establish and meet strategic and financial goals
Financial management experience in a limited budgetary environment
The ability to oversee the financial, legal and regulatory requirements of a not-for-profit institution
Demonstrated well developed interpersonal and intercultural skills to collaborate effectively within and outside BINM
Experience in board governance, board relations and practices
Fundraising and community engagement experience
A visionary approach to fostering the appropriate partnerships with stakeholders to further the mission and strategic goals of BINM

Starting salary range: $125,000 – 135,000 plus benefits
