Our client, a leading distributor in the Kitchener, ON area, is currently seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible leading health and safety committee, developing/implementing/reviewing safety policies, OS&D claims, among other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years prior relevant experience, preferably from the trucking or distribution industry
Experience in dealing with insurers regarding claims, insurance costs, etc.
Developing & implementing health and safety policies, practices and certifications
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written

Salary: $60,000 – 65,000 per year + Bonus
