Our Halifax office has an opening for a Clinic Administrator to provide business development, administrative and operational support to the clinic.This challenging and exciting role is a key position providing administrative support to the Halifax clinic. The incumbent is expected to take the initiative to ensure that support is delivered to clients and staff within expected timelines. The incumbent must be prepared to work a flexible schedule. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Customer Reception and Client Services
Payroll administration
Preparing reports, tracking action items and conducting follow up activities as required
Timely and effective organization and maintenance of clinical staff schedules
Preparing correspondence, organizing routine office activities, photocopying, answering phones, greeting clients, filing, data entry, and inventory control
Billing and schedule management
Preparation of required financial reports
Accounts receivables and accounts payable
Supervising and training of support personnel
Business development and support on marketing initiatives
Qualifications
Business degree or training at the post secondary level
Minimum 5 years experience required in the service sector.
Knowledge of the health care sector an asset.
Demonstrate excellence in customer service skills
A relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills, professional and outgoing
Excellent attention to details and organizational skills
Consistently maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good judgment, tact and diplomacy
Proven ability to meet established deadlines with a high level of accuracy
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is required
Experience with scheduling
