Glenmore-Ellison Improvement District (GEID) in Kelowna, B.C., is currently seeking two qualified individuals to fill EOCP Water Distribution Operator Level II and Level III positions. Under the direction of the Works Foreman and Lead Hand, in these unionized positions, you will be required to perform a variety of assignments pertaining to the daily and seasonal operation and maintenance of the GEID domestic and agricultural water system.
Your qualifications will include completion of Grade 12, a valid Class 5 B.C. (full privilege) Driver’s License and relevant EOCP Water Distribution Certification. You will have sound knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment to be used in the proper operation of a water distribution system.
The current hourly rate of pay will be as follows:
WD Operator Level II – $28.46
WD Operator Level III – $30.84
