Production Quality Inspector / Control – Woodstock – Kelly Services Inc

Job Description:
Most assignments are for Quality Inspection, reporting to Receiving and Inspection departments at Client.
Billing is directly to suppliers, but the work is managed and often trained by Client directly.
Duties vary but can range from very light and easy to very physical and heavy in some departments.
Employees need to be available for fulltime hours, however, work can be short term to start – because we service to Quality Issues, assignments are Short notice – candidates have to be willing to accept same day notice (sometimes within hours) for first assignments.
However, some short term employees, if they are a good fit, can work into longer term assignments.
There is never a guarantee of hours per week, but most employees can work regular fulltime hours for the most part.

Shifts:
Client operates an A shift and B shift which rotate together on a bi-weekly basis.
Overtime is mandatory at end of shift, but is scheduled weeks in advance.
They can let them know what exact shift they will be working in the specified plant they are placed in.
Flexibility is key, and KTE’s cannot leave after 8 hours on a 9-10 hour shift, Client requires them to be there for the entire shift.
Most plants run 9 hours on days Mon-Thurs (8 Fri), and 10 hours afternoons Mon-Thurs (8 Fri). Days – (sometimes 6:15am-4:45pm depending on OT), 6:50 or 7am – 4:15pm, (shift is 8 hrs Fridays) Afternoons – Mon-Fri – 5:45pm – 4:15am, Fridays (4:45pm-1:15am)
