Our client, a producer of high quality kitchen cabinetry in the St. John’s region, is currently seeking a Production Manager to complement their management team.

Responsibilities include

direct & coordinate plant production activities;
ensure production levels are maintained & deadlines met for all scheduled orders;
review materials to ensure compliance with quality standards;
ensure appropriate levels of material are maintained to meet production volumes;
perform manufacturing time studies;
ensure compliance with all provincial & company occupational health & safety standards;
liaise with all departments to ensure effective communication on production activity

Qualifications

accredited degree or diploma program in a related field;
minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment;
proven leadership & communication skills;
knowledge of Lean principles;
knowledge of workflow measures to enhance manufacturing processes;
ability to multi-task & manage multiple projects simultaneously;
wood manufacturing experience a definite asset
