You have the technical, administrative and leadership skills to inspire employee excellence and proactively manage the growth of transportation (streets and roads) services. Responsibilities include providing overall leadership for the daily operations of the Transportation business centre. You coordinate the provision of maintenance and repair services to the Town’s transportation network including: all streets, lanes and sidewalks, traffic and pedestrian signage, streetlights and traffic control devices. You are committed to environmental stewardship and exemplary community-based services. Your administrative skills will shine when assisting the Transportation Manager in short and long range planning, research and analysis relevant to your business centre, and coordinating the tendering process from initiation to completion and working with successful contractors.

Your notable academic achievements and at least ten years’ related experience, preferably in a public works setting, are coupled with significant supervisory success. Expert level knowledge of heavy equipment operations are complemented by certification as a public works supervisor.
