Trade Expansion Manager – Bangda Canada Inc – Richmond Hill, ON

About the job:

An import, wholesale and distribution company in Richmond Hill, Ontario is specialized in men’s apparel and accessories. Due to the extreme competition, climbing cost and decreasing profit margin, company is continuously searching for good and reliable overseas sources of products for the Canadian markets. This is an opportunity for someone who can use multi-years of experience in textile manufacturing, international sourcing, marketing and sales to help the company cut costs, grow and expand customer base and increase profitability.

Accountability and skills:

Plan, organize and direct daily operations, establish and implement policies and procedures, assign, coordinate and review projects and programs, plan, direct and monitor activities of sales department, establish distribution networks for products and services, plan and direct advertising and marketing campaigns, plan and direct market research studies, oversee the analysis of sales data and information, oversee the preparation of reports, evaluate markets, develop promotional materials, conduct site visits, conduct sales blizes, participate in trade shows, negotiate large contracts, write request for proposals, maintain existing accounts and generate new accounts

Member of the management team:

Contribute to development of overall business strategies, objectives and plans; participate in day-to-day management of business operations; provide visionary leadership to strategically position the organization at the forefront of the industry and effectively communicate this vision to members, partners and key stateholders; ensures that the mission, vision, values, brand and products are consistently presented with a strong, positive image

Qualifications:

Completion of college diploma; Extensive experience in international trades, import and export; 5 years or more in management leadership position preferably in fashion industry and textile trading; proven record of successful business leadership experience and proven ability to deliver profitable sales growth; in-depth problem-solving and analytical skill set; experience managing and motivating the sales team to develop and implement strategy; disciplined strategic thinker and visionary with strong business acumen; proven experience motivating, coaching and mentoring people and building positive beams; proven ability to identify, create and drive sales; excellent professional oral and written communication skills in English, any other languages will be an asset; understand international trade regulations and standards; computer skills and ecommerce knowledge

Term of Employment: full time, permanent, nonseasonal

Salary: $7,200 monthly, for 40 hours per week

Start date: as soon as possible
