The Opportunity:
We have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Team Lead Gardener for the upcoming season. This is a perfect opportunity for a professional gardener/horticulturalist who is ready to step up into a leadership role. The Team Lead will report to the owner of Flourish Garden Services Inc. and will have the following responsibilities:
Lead our team of landscape gardeners in fine gardening duties, lawn care, seasonal containers & enhancements, planting installations.
Train landscape gardening team on sustainable gardening techniques and practices.
Ensure that all company policies including Health and Safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
Oversee the maintenance of all company tools and equipment.
Support the owner in coordinating site work, staff scheduling, inventory/supply management, business development initiatives and budget requirements as needed.

Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 3 years Horticultural/Landscaping experience with a passion for sustainable garden practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills applied in leading a team of landscape gardeners.
A demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
A strong working knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment and relevant Health and Safety regulations.
A valid Ontario driver’s “G” license w clean abstract

Compensation:
The starting salary will be $25-30 per hour and will be finalized based on the candidate’s qualifications and skills. Company paid benefits will be provided to the Team Lead upon the successful completion of the 3-month probationary period.
