We are currently seeking a Supplier Program Manager for our client.
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing and Supply you will lead global strategic sourcing initiatives. You will also define mid- to long-term supply strategy worldwide to deliver benefit to the business and ensure alignment with the client’s roadmap.
Responsibilities:
Engaging with future suppliers and establishing supply chain strategy
Coordinating the sourcing and supplier selection process, preparing, integrating and sending RFP packages to the suppliers.
Integrating a network of technology providers with the product life cycle
Creating and managing strategic suppliers and helping to define the business requirements and supply chain strategy and future road map.
Pursuing and implementing cost-reduction activities to improve overall total cost of ownership
Researching the supply market and understand business drivers
Developing knowledge in industries’ technology trends
Carrying out competitive benchmarking and analysis, evaluation and qualification of supplier, risk assessment, contract development and international negotiations
Analyzing the RFP responses with the project team, and proposing appropriate solutions
Liaising with a variety of client’s internal departments to ensure multidisciplinary resources are managed within the supply chain cycle
Developing relationships with the suppliers, defining the contracts (NDA and MSA) ensuring the suppliers meet our requirements
Managing supplier relationships worldwide and understanding capability and capacity
Traveling up to 25 percent of the time within North America and internationally
Driving continuous improvement and supplier development
Develop and manage supplier surveillance (KPI monitoring)
Analyzing and interpreting spend and performance data
Performing other duties upon request
Qualifications:
At least ten years’ experience in a similar position with international responsibilities in supply chain management.
Degree or diploma in business, materials management or a related field preferred
Certified professional purchaser designation, or willingness to obtain
Ability to understand business and supply chain strategy, operate at both a strategic and operational level, and highly data literate
Experience in global sourcing including managing supplier relations.
Management, communication, and interpersonal skills to work in a high performance, team environment and deal with internal clients and external suppliers
Demonstrated ability to work with passion and commitment
Successful experience in managing partnership relations
Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level, and highly data literate
Motivated, self-managed and able to operate within a framework of objectives
Preferably, experience in the high tech industry
A valid passport, or no impediment to obtaining one
Strong analytical and organizational skills
