The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is seeking a regular full-time Supervisor—Comox Valley Waste Management Centre (CVWMC) to join our Engineering Services team.

This position is responsible for leading a team of unionized staff, o achieve excellence in customer service and site operation within the CVWMC. The position will be responsible for supervision of all CVWMC employees and implementation of all safety and work procedures and policies. The focus of the role is on the efficient use of labour, equipment, and materials. The Supervisor is responsible for resourcing and scheduling the required work in the CVWMC and assigning work tasks to direct reports as required. This position will also assist with construction projects and procurement purchases and will maintain accurate records for reporting on such things as personnel, operating costs, and safety.

This is a Union position and is covered by the terms and conditions of employment as set out in the collective agreement between CUPE Local 556 and the CVRD. The current rate for of pay for this position is $39.82 per hour.
