Hickman Automotive Group, one of the top 101 companies in Atlantic Canada as voted by Progress Magazine, has an opening for a temporary full-time unionized position as a Service Advisor with our team at Hickman Truck Centre, 24 Peet Street.
The primary job duties of this position include:
Manage customer service reception, appointments, scheduling & repair updates
Coordinate shop scheduling, workflows & vehicle returns with the Shop Foreman
Comply with all Truck Centre, ADP and OEM repair order processing guidelines
Ensure the customer experience is setup for success from the initial contact
Organize, track & control the repair order flow for consistent & timely closings
Control the assignment of all technician billable hours to repair orders and ADP
Physical ability to view & evaluate trucks on arrival, in the yard, or in the shop
The following skills and experience would be considered an asset for this position:
Knowledge of Volvo, Mack, Isuzu, and GM vehicles and basic systems
ADP dealer level computer system experience preferred
Exceptional communication skills; in person, on telephone and in writing
Ability to work with others and promote success for all departments
Strong desire to learn and grow career path through continuous training
