Our Planning and Development Department is currently seeking a:
Senior Planner
(Permanent Full Time – CUPE Local 2254)
The position of Senior Planner carries out professional work including: development and implementation of comprehensive consultation processes with the public and other agencies; development of policy; review and creation of Official Community Plans and Zoning Bylaws; and processing of complex development proposals. Applicants should have excellent communications skills and exercise considerable independent judgement, creativity and action in managing projects. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in planning or a related field and a minimum of three years experience with local government.
