This is a two-year term position.

Under the authority and guidance of the Chief and Council, the Senior Administrative Officer will oversee operations of the municipality.

The SAO will ensure that all operations are conducted in a respectful and responsible way, ensuring that all decisions and actions comply with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

SAO is responsible for the management, administration and delivery of all municipal programs.  In addition, the SAO will be responsible for training the NBDB Finance Manager to assume management responsibilities upon completion of the training program.

The incumbent is a member of team environment organization and shall keep strict confidential files for cliental and shall work closely with the Chief and Council.
