Senior Administrative Officer – Term Position, Two Years

Under  the  authority  and  guidance  of  the  Chief and Council, the Senior Administrative Officer will oversee operations of the municipality.

The SAO will ensure that all operations are conducted in a respectful and responsible way, ensuring that all decisions and actions comply with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

SAO is responsible lor the management, administration and delivery of all municipal programs. In addition, the  SAO  will   be  responsible  lor  training  the NBDB Finance Manager to assume management responsibilities upon completion of training program.

The incumbent is a member of team environment organization and shall keep strict confidential files for client and shall work closely with the Chief and Council.

maintain   the   general   administration   of   the municipality
provide support and advice to Chief and Council

understanding relevant municipal legislation, policies and procedures

human resources planning and developing
analytical and problem solving skills is an asset
knowledge of office administration
knowledge of Simply Accounting is required
stress management skills
ability to work as a team
