Saputo Dairy Products Canada GP, a National Food Company with operations across Canada, has an opening for a Food Service Sales Manager located in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Job Summary:
The incumbent will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Food Service and will be responsible for business development within the New Brunswick marketplace. This role includes responsibility for sales, warehouse and inventory management.
Job Description:
Responsible for the sales and margin objectives
Establish a dynamic work environment
Manage sales and warehouse to ensure their development
Provide coaching, motivate and take all necessary steps to ensure that every member of the sales team attains or surpasses their sales objectives
Responsible for collection of all accounts receivable
Accompany, on the route, all sales representatives
Ensure that all Saputo products are promoted within the customers that we serve
Develop and grow the Saputo Book of Business through cold calling leading to new customer acquisition
Represent our quality brands while cultivating relationships with our end users
Act as a resource providing valuable product knowledge and application ideas to existing and potential customers
Create, suggest and organize in-store promotions in accordance with company policy
Coordinate sales meetings with the sales force
Inform company of new developments in the marketplace
Qualifications and Skills Required:
University degree in business or related field
3-5 years supervisory experience in a similar sales environment, preferably in the food industry
Superior communication and organizational skills
Team player with exceptional coaching skills
Proven sales track record
Restaurant and/or food establishment kitchen experience an asset
