Position description and duties:
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing Life Without Plastic’s marketing and sales strategy and implement it. This would entail identifying all sales and marketing opportunities and developing creative strategies to meet them. This person will be using tools such as our newsletter, blog, social media, website content, photography, product staging, product description, Google AdWords, social media advertising, CRMs, phone calls, etc. This position also involves developing a strategy for reaching out to our wholesale customers through creative means.
We are hiring an intern with an educational background in marketing, sales or another relevant field for this job. A monthly base payment will be offered for the first 3 months. After this time period, a long term job with an increased salary may be offered if the employees’ actions have shown a demonstrated improvement in our sales and if she or he meets the requirements of the position at the satisfaction of all the other team members.

Well organized and keeping abreast of the existence of productivity tools for tracking sales development efforts.
Passionate about nature and sharing our mission to reduce plastic pollution.
Comfortable making phone calls and speaking on behalf of Life Without Plastic.
Solutions-oriented and detail-oriented.
Proactive, a self-starter, and resourceful.
Comfortable with computers and a quick-learner.
Comfortable communicating in French would be a definite plus.
Open to a flexible schedule, working odd hours and virtually communicating.

Desired Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in marketing, sales or relevant role.
Comfortable with technology.
Comfortable with social media marketing.
Knowledgeable of principles of Search Engine Optimization.

Requirements:
College or University diploma
