The Jean Marie River First Nation is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic professional for the role of Recreation/Wellness Coordinator.
The Recreation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all sport, recreation and leisure programs/activities in the community. In addition the Recreation Coordinator will monitor the care and maintenance of any equipment and facilities in the community.
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for administering the community wellness programs.

The Recreation/Wellness Coordinator is responsible for: apply for, running, reporting for all recreation and wellness programs.

The ideal candidate:

hold post-secondary qualifications in areas related to the job title,
must provide a Criminal Record Check,
must have a strong practical and proven background in recreation/wellness programming,
be computer proficient: knowledge of Microsoft office, internet, email,
must have proven verbal & written communication skills,
project management and supervision skills,
ability to work in a team environment,
mentoring ability,
ability to deal effectively with community officials, volunteers, community members,
ability to provide focus, leadership, adapt, integrate planning and program initiatives,
Must be drug and alcohol free at all times.
