The Community Government of Wekweeti is seeking a Recreation Coordinator with a sound work ethic who will maintain standards of conduct and demonstrate a dedication to the position and the community.

The Recreation Director reports to the Senior Administrative Officer and is responsible:
Management of all recreation facilities in order to provide clean and safe opportunities for sport and recreation and promote a healthy lifestyle for all community residents.
He/she will manage all recreation facilities and assist with sport, recreation and leisure programs in the community.
The Recreation Director will monitor the care and maintenance of any equipment and facilities in the community.
Desired qualifications include Post-Secondary Schooling in the related field. Lesser qualifications may be considered.

Must have a Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory criminal records check.
