DataWind Inc. is a global leader in the development of wireless web access products and services. We offer a series of wireless web access devices and related web delivery platforms, including tablets, smartphones as well as other industry-leading web-browsing devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Source and develop new suppliers based on our regular purchasing products and new projects;
Negotiate with suppliers for continuous cost down target;
Coordinate with suppliers for new samples and bidding for new projects;
Follow up with existing suppliers for competitive price negotiation, new order issuing, production and delivery following up;
Follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery on time and coordinate with QC in China to ensure units shipped with approved quality;
Any other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, or Electronics;
3+ years of professional experience in purchasing consumer electronics, or import & export business;
Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Detail oriented and a high sense of responsibility;
Excellent negotiation skills and well organized;
Goal oriented and able to deal well with tight deadlines;
Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) reading and writing;
Willing to work evenings to communicate with suppliers in China, due to time difference.
