Nestled between the Rocky and Purcell mountains of south-eastern British Columbia, and situated adjacent to Kootenay National Park and the Columbia River wetlands, the Village of Radium Hot Springs is a wonderful place to live, work, and recreate. We are a year round playground for outdoor enthusiasts. Winter activities include snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and backcountry and resort skiing. During the summer months, options include hiking, fishing, hunting, mountaineering, boating and mountain biking, all in close proximity. We are a compact resort community of 776 permanent residents with excellent infrastructure that is capable of servicing 5,000 visitors during the peak tourism season.

The Village is seeking an individual with proven skills and experience to act as the Public Works Superintendent (full time).

This is a complex and wide spectrum position entailing a variety of tasks related to the construction, maintenance, operation and administration of municipal water and sewer utilities, roads, parklands, buildings, machinery, and infrastructure. Other responsibilities include policy development, asset management, program planning, budget management, personnel administration, contract oversight, and operational direction of the various public works functions.
