Project manager – Training and capacity building – Network of protected natural environments

MAIN TASKS :
As part of the projects under its responsibility:
Plan the stages and deadlines
Carry out certain tasks related to the administrative management associated with projects, in collaboration with the Director General
Research, compile, write, verify, format and promote different tools to support the mission (guides, articles, models, blog, etc.).
Create, update and lead different types of training and sessions (virtual and in-room).
Support members in finding and applying the tools.
Develop new capacity development projects, and write grant applications and service offers.
Represent the organization at various meetings or events.
Write or collaborate on content writing.
Perform all other related tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in environment, ecology or biology or in a related field.
At least one year of relevant experience.
Knowledge of the conservation sector (and voluntary conservation an asset).
Skills in animation and popularization.
Knowledge of teaching techniques or editing training content an asset.
Very good command of office automation (Word, Excel) and familiarity with Power Point.
Autonomy, sense of planning and organization.
Excellent writing skills and fluency in written and oral French and good command of English, written and spoken.
Eligibility for a wage subsidy measure from Emploi-Québec, an asset (letter of eligibility to be provided).

WORKING CONDITIONS :
Starting date: End of August 2020
Schedule: 35 hours / week, Monday to Friday, except during exceptional events
Hourly rate: from $ 22 / h, depending on experience
Work base: Montreal, Laurier metro (shared telework schedule)
