The Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information (the Centre) supports the development, implementation and management of a province-wide Health Information Network (HIN) and HEALTHe NL, the provincial electronic health record (EHR). The Centre is currently seeking a Project Manager to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to plan and organize activities related to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of various projects.
As Project Manager, you will work through all stages of the project lifecycle from requirements gathering through to planning, executing, and closing projects. You will also develop, manage and report on schedules, budgets, project objectives at various levels of the organization.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to proactively anticipate and manage changes in project scope, and execute risk management and contingency plans. A demonstrated ability to lead project teams and engage stakeholder involvement and consensus is essential. Superior oral and written communication skills are also a necessity. Given the nature of the information you will be working with, a strong awareness of privacy, confidentiality and access issues are a must.
If you have a diploma or degree in business administration or related field supplement with a minimum of five years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including process development and execution; knowledge of business analysis and/or change management concepts; experience leading large-scale project teams and a project management certification/designation, you should consider exploring this opportunity. Equivalent combinations of education, training and experience will be considered.
