Job Description:
The City of Cold Lake is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of full-time Programming Foreman with the Community Services Department.
Reporting to the Recreation Manager, the Programming Foreman is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating programming opportunities for the community with a specific focus on daily operations at the Cold Lake Energy Centre, including supervising, scheduling, and mentoring all programming staff within the Department. The Programming Foreman will develop new programs and opportunities for the community through sport, recreation, and leisure. This position will also act as a liaison with all recreation department user groups and customers, providing excellent customer service to ensure public satisfaction.
The preferred qualifications for this position include a University Degree in Recreation, Business, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related discipline. The Programming Foreman will have strong computer skills; knowledge of CLASS software is an asset. A Class 5 driver’s license and Standard First Aid with CPR are required.
