Overall Responsibilities:
Plan and organize inter-project activities, durations, sequences, resource allocations, and dependencies
Assign, liaise with, and coordinate Project Managers
Monitor and track expenses and determine effectiveness of work and estimates
Develop lists of preferred subcontractors, suppliers, and materials, and develop procedures, systems, details and specifications manuals
Compile Company Home Owner’s manual
Manage staff scheduling for holidays and days off

Provide the conditions to allow for every project to come in on time, on budget and with a delighted client
Coordinated, organized, timely, safe, cost-effective and quality implementation of all projects
No future call backs or warranty issues
“Real time” identification of deviations from project financial expectations
Regular cash flow and income projections
Incremental improvements to construction procedures, staff training, material/system selections, estimating and pricing
Incremental enhancements to people- and planet-friendly product and service offerings
Complete client satisfaction
Inspired, respectful, committed, open and effective team-first identity and work ethic
Shared vision for the Company among all Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Lead Hands, other Company staff and all subcontractors
Specific Skills/Experience Required:
Thorough knowledge of: the current Ontario Building Code as it applies to residential low-rise and light-commercial construction, Tarion Construction Standards, Company Construction Procedures and Details
Knowledge of the current Occupational Health & Safety Act as it pertains to Employers Engaged in Construction
Proficient in the use of project management software, notably Microsoft Project
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as internet/email interconnectivity
Ten years varied residential low-rise construction experience with at least three years within a construction Project Manager’s role
Post-graduate certificate or Diploma in Construction Project Management shall be an asset
Up-to-date WSIB approved first aid certificate for projects with more than 5 workers shall be an asset
Salary range: $30-$40/hour
