Pixhug, an innovative new social media company in Vancouver, BC, is looking for a President to lead its team.

Duties:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the President will be the leader in strategic direction and management.

Provide leadership and direction for the company’s CEO
Implement long-range objectives and develop innovative strategies to help achieve them
Identify, monitor and measure objectives and targets. Develop KPIs and necessary plans to meet or exceed KPIs
Assist in growth and development of staff as well as the overall firm. Expanding and securing new business with Fortune 100 Companies and National and International NGOs
Identify new business opportunities, participate in new business pitches and assist in drafting business proposals
Maintain an extensive network of non-profit and foundation connections that can be used for new business outreach
Create new revenue streams through international relationships and strategic partnerships
Write strategic communication plans and campaign strategies that demonstrate Pixhug’s creative approach; offer unique strategies tailored to the needs of the client
Produce and direct documentaries; create empowering content using creative storytelling to communicate the brand, social messaging, and articulate global challenges.

Requirements:

Successful history of cross-border team management and leadership skills
Entrepreneurial record of building a successful company with integrated corporate social responsibility
Experience of International business development and sales at boardroom and governmental level in B2B, B2C and online business environments

Experience with overseeing communications, branding, and marketing campaigns, both domestic and international in an online environment
Experience of securing media placement in top publications
Willingness to travel to remote locations and challenging environments to oversee humanitarian projects and produce documentaries/short films
History of working with major NGO’s and Third World Development Organizations

Salary

$100,000 annual plus bonus
