Namar Cuisine Ltd. requires an experienced Office Manager to coordinate the office operations of its restaurant (Thai Express) as well as its four affiliated restaurants. The position is permanent and full-time, and the salary is $41,600.00/year. The company’s head office is located at 250 Stanfield Avenue, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
The position’s duties will include the following:
overseeing, coordinating, and reviewing administrative procedures, especially those relating to corporate and operational records and records management;
establishing work priorities and delegating tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and procedures are followed;
organizing office and administrative services, including supplies and equipment purchase and disposal, landlord relations, disposal of assets, and relocations;
conducting analyses and overseeing corporate initiatives relating to budgeting, contracting, and project/management planning;
assisting in preparation of operating budgets;
maintaining inventory and budgetary controls;
assembling periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence relating to the operation and management of the restaurants.
The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of administrative management experience and, preferably, strong bookkeeping and records management skills.
A secondary school diploma and a degree related to management and/or administration is required.
