Job Summary:
We are a Canadian subsidiary for a European Manufacturer that sells Pastry Production Machinery to the Canadian market. We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator for one year to run the Canadian office and to provide clerical and administrative support to different managers / executives and team members located in the USA.
Duties include / Responsibilities:
Day-to-day running of the office
Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries from customers / forward calls.
Deal with post, faxes, internal and external e-mail enquiries, couriers and walk-in clients.
Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
Maintenance of manual and computerized files and databases.
Ship out parts orders and receive equipment when service techs are not in.
Receive and invoice spare parts and small equipment.
Assist with project management.
Inventory control.
Develop and oversee shared diary / planning systems, central filing system.
Other ad hoc duties as requested.
