National Service Manager – Waterford – Markham, ON

Responsible:

Lead the Technical Service, Warranty Administration and Training team (10 direct reports)
Operating Budget responsibilities
Provide up to date technical information and leading edge technical support to Dealers and staff
Ongoing development of  Special tool program
Maintain and monitor customer inquiries
Assist dealers and product Service Managers  and resolving customer complaints.
Ensure prompt and accurate distribution and completion of field campaigns and bulletins
Manage Warranty recovery from vendors
Provide timely reports and analysis of the warranty data
Conduct meetings with service and QA staff for quality assurance and improvement
Service and warranty training for Dealer personnel
Quality Assurance and Improvement

Qualifications:

Degree / Diploma to Construction, Automotive, or engineering/technical  or Construction Equipment Technician
Minimum 5 years of Service, Warranty and Campaign experience
Vendor warranty and QA process, contracts experience
Managerial capabilities
Ability to communicate information effectively verbally and in writing
Heavy or construction general knowledge
Computer skills (AS400, Dealer Link, and Lotus Notes)
Time management skill
Fluent in both English and French is a MUST
