As a valued member of the company, the Move Coordinator will play a key role in all projects involving the physical relocation of healthcare assets. Working as part of a team, and under the direction of a Project Director, this role will be pivotal to the planning, management and execution of the physical relocation of equipment, and other assets, as typically found within hospital or clinical lab environments.
This role is positioned for growth. The selected candidate will be supported, mentored and expected to play a significant part in growing a Healthcare Relocation line of business. The successful candidate’s role, responsibilities and compensation are expected to grow commensurately with the increasing revenues of this line of business. Candidates should have a background working in: Clinical Labs, Hospitals, the Medical Equipment industry, or the Healthcare Relocation sector specifically.

KEY FUNCTIONS
Project Coordination
Provide key guidance to the planning and management of move events for medical equipment and non-clinical assets (e.g., office furniture) typically found within hospitals or laboratory environments.
Develop detailed work plans and provide project scheduling as required for ongoing planning and reporting.
Coordinate tasks required to prepare for a move event (e.g., inventory, asset tagging, list production, contractor management).
Meet with clients as required and fully integrate to be a functional part of their larger project team.
Work with move crew supervisors and related 3rd party vendors from the moving industry to ensure the successful delivery of move events as planned by the project team.
Prepares analysis, closing briefings and presentations to be delivered with, or on behalf of, the larger project team.
Serve as the key liaison among teams to ensure smooth integration between plans and move event execution.
Other: Opportunities to be involved in aspects of other healthcare transition projects (e.g., operational transitions).
Project Logistics
When required, assist in the sourcing of project resources to meet all delivery requirements.
Coordinate staffing schedules and issues when coordinating onsite teams.
Work with the client to ensure security, access, support equipment and adjacent schedules are aligned to allow for a smooth delivery of relocation services.
Assist in the identification, documentation and mitigation of service delivery risks.

Education: University or College degree in a field related to Clinical Labs, Hospital care, Healthcare Operations, or the Medical Equipment industry.
Yrs. of Experience: 3+ years experience in a role with similar “Key Job Functions”
Communication Skills: Demonstration of strong written and verbal communication skills that enable information to be delivered in a clear and concise manner to various audiences (e.g., hospital staff, managers, internal team members and moving crews).
Skills:
Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision
Must be able to perform well in a team both as a leader and follower
Effective problem solving skills in both controlled and dynamic situations
Attention to detail and delivering the needed level of quality
Multi-tasking, prioritizing and managing time to ensure on-time deliverables
Experience with light trades and tool use is an asset
Project Management experience and/or certification is an asset
Must have a level of computer proficiency to use most contemporary work/project management/collaboration tools (note: training and learning opportunities will be provided)
Other Capabilities:
General driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required to allow for commuting to client sites
Ability and willingness to travel across Canada as required

Full-time Employment (Salary based)
Annual compensation: Please note in your cover letter your expectation for total annual income. Salary and bonus structure will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience.
