The Manager of Family Services reports directly to the Manager of Process Improvement in the establishment of a plan for continuous quality improvement of programs for all levels of the organization. The Manager of Family Services collaborates with management staff in the identification and establishment of policies, procedures, outcomes and processes that will ensure the highest quality of consumer services. The Manager of Family Services must be familiar with current trends and standards of best practice in the human service field and be able to interpret such to a diverse audience.
Responsibilities;
Ability to supervise and manage staff efficiently and effectively within the guidelines WeCare Home Health’s policies and procedures.
Provide training and guidance to staff, parents, and community members on a variety of pertinent topics in the area of family and community partnership.
On-going professional development through education, role modeling, mentoring, and training.
Ability to travel throughout NB when needed to support other branches.
Ensure coordination of communication with staff, parents, and community partners to enhance services to all of our clients.
Supervise and oversee work tasks and activities within the Family Services Program to ensure the full delivery of integrated service.
Quality Management: leads performance measurement activities
Risk Management: creates a culture of adverse event reporting leading to risk reduction and improved safety for clients and staff

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills
Experience with client- and family-centered service delivery
Experience in services that are responsive to cultural, diversity, and developmental needs
Demonstrated experience in developing staff teams, coaching, mentoring
The position deals with confidential information and requires that the incumbent be highly trustworthy.
A criminal record check must be undertaken.
Post-secondary education in the fields of Psychology, Social Work, Child and Youth Care or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience case managing in related field
Valid driver’s license in the Province of NB
Reliable vehicle
First Aid and CPR level C
