The CVRD is seeking a manager of capital projects to join our engineering services branch for up to five years. Reporting to the senior manager of water/wastewater services and in consultation with the general manager of engineering services, the manager of capital projects is primarily responsible for determination of capital project feasibility, feasibility studies, planning, preparation and execution of water and wastewater projects. Primarily this includes the preparation and evaluation of tenders and requests for proposals, preparation and implementation of budgets associated with infrastructure capital projects, accountability for project schedules and timelines, oversight of project implementation, and making all technical, engineering and financial decisions and recommendations related to water/wastewater capital projects within the engineering department of the CVRD.
