This role
will provide landscaping services to business clients in the Halifax/ Dartmouth Metro area. We have partnered with a large investment property company and will be working closely with their staff to implement new plans to improve the curb appeal around apartment buildings.
As immediate needs are met there will be an emphasis on removing sod and naturalizing landscapes using native plants. Also, repairing and rebuilding aging hardscapes i.e. retaining walls, grading & drainage

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support for property improvements around established apartment buildings.
Working closely with other staff to remove and restore garden beds.
Prune and remove dead plants from landscape.
Working with other staff test soil and add amendments as needed to improve soil and ensure good plant health.
Experience working with Landscape Architects and installing landscapes using Permaculture practices would be an asset
Experience and proven ability to train and supervise staff in this setting would be an asset
Willingness to work outdoors
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines under limited time constraints
Valid Driver’s license
Full Or Part Time Seasonal Contract Opportunity with potential to extend.
