Job description
Cooltainer New Zealand are a specialist division of Kuehne + Nagel; providing temperature controlled perishable commodities throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. We have a full time, permanent opportunity for an experienced individual to handle entering all costs against individual shipments.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Timely and accurate execution of entering all job costings for shipments within internal systems
Ensure all suppliers tariff costs are updated in a timely manner with particular focus on the changing fuel surcharges for flow on this will have to the job costing.
Completing balancing for month end and ensuring data integrity in our internal system. This includes querying and fixing incorrect vessel & voyage details, fixing duplicate jobs.
Finalising end of month jobs against bookings and ensuring the balance in conjunction with communicating requirements to other teams.

Your skills and experience
A sound understanding of freight and/or shipping
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and ability to pick up new systems quickly
Ability to work under pressure
Desire to be part of a team and can work well with others
High level attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to provide high level of customer service
Flexibility to adapt to change in a team environment.
This is an 08:30am – 5:00pm role, Monday – Friday. However, flexibility is required for overtime where necessary.
