Our client, a well-known pension plan requires a Project Manager who will oversee the management and implementation of industry specific applications, identify and negotiate resources and manage team members and vendor relationships in order to execute completion of projects. The role is essential to the achievement of the organizations business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Management of cross functional teams; holding meetings with stakeholders (primarily investment and finance) at all levels of staff to identify and gather needs;
Creation and execution of projects to meet changing needs and requirements;
Ensure PM methodology and project standards are effectively applied;
Management of vendor deliverables and support during project lifecycle;
Managing multiple vendors and working within a managed service environment;
Maintaining data applications, handling systems implementation and surveying new systems in the market;
Minimize exposure and risk on projects;
Report and escalate issues as needed in a timely manner

Required Knowledge, Abilities and Experience:
7+ years of experience managing Enterprise Level Projects
PMP Certification
Knowledge of private markets a definite asset
Good understanding of end-to-end deal making
Experience working with different business methodologies and project standards
Exposure working with different asset classes and understanding of the life cycle of asset classes
Expert in Project Management Methodology and application of tools and techniques
Applied knowledge of investment trading life cycle, workflows, business practices and detailed knowledge of investment industry’s data requirements
Strong working knowledge of investment data analytics and investment data warehouse products and applications
Strong analytical skills coupled with strong investment management experience for front, middle and back office
