Description:
An effective Install crew member will be part of a team to install, delivery, pick up and manage our products. The goal is to have a solid working team to safely, efficiently and properly complete installs. The event industry is very volatile and things change quickly. Installers will need to be able to work long hours and be flexible on start and end times. Our team gets going when the going gets rough and works well to get the job done based on the specified timeline.
Duties:
Attend training sessions conducted by Supervisors and Operations Manager and maintain working knowledge of all products & tents.
Assist with pulling equipment and loading into trucks, safely, completely & efficiently.
Follow instructions of on-site supervisor in regards to installation requirements.
Have knowledge of what is happening/required during day-to-day installs.
Inform warehouse manager of any missing or damaged product for post-event billing.
Ensure safe transport of products within trucks; tie-downs, ratchet straps, safe & proper stacking so as not to damage product.
Assist in cleaning products upon return for a quick turnaround in high rental season.
Inspect product upon return for proper & timely post-event billing.
Maintain physical condition of warehouse based on instruction and report any safety concerns/violations to management.
Conduct professional on-site behavior as an ambassador of Event Rental Works.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail, able to lift 50+lbs (preferably overhead), equipment maintenance, strong decision making and problem solving skills, excellent communication and listening skills, maintain professional appearance, maintain attendance record, speak, write and understand English clearly, understand instructions in verbal and written communication, work well with all members of the team.
