Inside Sales Coordinator – Blu Bathworks – Vancouver, BC

Blu Bathworks is a Canadian modern bathware design-house & manufacturer, based in the heart of Vancouver’s design community. With a customer base across North America & fast-growing, dynamic brand, we are seeking a high-energy, professional Inside Sales Coordinator to actively grow the business to the next level.

The suitable person will be a highly motivated team player, enthusiastic in their approach to learning product, in-house systems & processes and be willing to grow with this fast-growing, ever-changing entrepreneurial organization. The candidate must have strong relationship building skills and have experience selling mid to high-end decorative plumbing fixtures & fittings.

Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for providing superior inside sales support & high-level customer service.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide prompt, courteous & knowledgeable customer service via phone, email & in person
Support North American Retail Showrooms, A&D clients and all other key accounts by providing all necessary information to secure orders & ensure Customer satisfaction
Support Outside Sales Reps with literature mail outs, product education, retail displays, paperwork & any other method to ensure effective communication of the brand’s value & product offering
Maintain a high level of knowledge on Blu Bathworks’ product offering & educate end consumers on the Blu Bathworks product choices & value proposition
Efficiently handle Customer service calls including product warranty and replacement parts & direct or escalate calls to the appropriate team member where necessary
Order processing & confirmations: accurately enter POs in the system, communicating with Sales team / Operations team / warehouses & follow up open orders to determine availability & close orders
Trade Show and Special Event Logistics & attendance as required
Literature and Sample Inventory Management & reporting of same to Marketing
Support new retail/showroom account set-up from inputting in system to confirming documentation etc
Ensure all required documentation is filed promptly and accurately with Accounting
Other sales support duties & occasional shipping as required

Core Skills & Competencies required

2-4 years inside sales or customer service experience required – must have experience in high-end decorative plumbing industry (similar experience selling technical product eg. electronics, cars, furniture will be considered)
Strong time management, organizational, multi-tasking skills
Strong communication & presentation skills & ability to understand and anticipate customers’ needs
Assertive, resilient & self-motivated individual, with excellent customer complaint resolution skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel); familiarity with Mac Operating systems is desirable
Knowledge of SAP ERP is a bonus, however, training will be provided
