We are seeking a skilled human resources professional with outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills to provide a full range of generalist HR services.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, this position will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with managers, supervisors and employees, providing advice and support on sound human resources practices. This position will play a significant role in supporting initiatives to assist the organization in achieving its goals and objectives by implementing strategic human resource planning, fostering a positive labour relations environment, and providing input into the development of policies and programs to meet corporate objectives. We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a team oriented approach, and a proven track record.
The successful candidate will have a university degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field, a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation and at least five years related experience, preferably in a public sector unionized environment.
