Our client has an opening for a Human Resources Administrator to join the team in Saint John, New Brunswick. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Administrator will assist with the planning and implementation of HR initiatives and provide administrative support for the division.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support for HR team and all HR processes
• Prepare and distribute period, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports and scorecards
• Coordinate information requests with HR team members and compile data using Excel
• PeopleSoft Power User for the division and resource for all end users
• Ensure data integrity and coordinate reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve system usage
• Train users on new functionalities
• Other administrative activities including attending meetings, recording minutes, maintaining employee files and the coding and processing of invoices.
Qualifications:
• Post-Secondary Education
• 2-5 years’ experience in HR, Accounts Payable, Payroll or other relevant fields
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Self-motivated, high attention to detail, and a team player
• SharePoint experience would be considered an asset
• Bilingualism would be considered an asset
