Human Resource Administrator – Reliance Offshore – Halifax City

Reliance Offshore; a member of I. H. Mathers Group of Companies, is an Atlantic Canadian based company specializing in the provision of offshore personnel for local and international projects.

We are currently seeking a Human Resource Administrator for our downtown Halifax location.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability in critical thinking, be detail orientated and have a strong grasp of Human Resource Policy and Procedures.

Administrative Support Responsibilities:

Ensure Health, Safety and Environment reporting functions are maintained
Maintain professional internal and external business relationships
Conduct HR policies review, development and implementation
Training coordination for onshore and offshore employees
Assist in employee orientations
Maintain and update employee files
Assist in the creation of company newsletters
Follow ISO quality guidelines
Assist in bid preparation and submissions

Ability to manage multiple priorities in an efficient manner
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong customer services skills with the ability to effectively problem solve
Must be able to work in a team environment

Qualifications:

Between 1-3 years of Human Resource Experience
Post-secondary education with a focus in Human Resources
Strong computer skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
Experience working in an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization & with document control an asset
